UNICEF
This brochure illustrates projects undertaken by Unicef South Africa and was part of a "rights of children and women" themed presentation kit. The 38 page design is straight forward with powerful imagery and strong visuals including a political message. My colour choice was earthy with corporate burgundy, navy blue and greys to reflect the colours and spirit of Africa. The brochure format is landscape, 20% larger than A3 and the litho print run consists of only 50 copies as individual pages. The end product is timeless and reflect the cause.

URBANRHYTHM
A photography driven project in which the client wanted to display a large variety of products. The photographs were taken inside the client’s display room whilst prospective buyers were in attendance. The challenge was to make each photograph work independently and in the layout. I decided to drop each shot into a separate box and rely on the rich colours of the products for ambiance. A pleasing result and the artwork was published in magazines and newspapers.

OLGC
Our Lady of Good Counsel primary school was in desperate need of a new image. I reworked their existing logo to create balance, and applied a running theme including graphic elements from the logo to their stationery and look and feel. A clever content management system driving their website makes it easy for the school staff to keep the website up to date and allows parents to have immediate access to information. I also used colour enhanced photographs and illustrations in both the website for a more relaxed and informal look and to bring the spontaneity of the children into play.
